Chrysala Xipil - "Chrys"
A trans Auri girl who was corrupted by the void at an early age and cursed with a vampiric thirst. Despite her appearance, she is still biologically a Raen and her scales are just discolored.She recently drank the blood of a draconic partner and has gained a more draconic appearance as a result. She was also cursed with immortality, a burden that her other two selves do not share.
Rhyslaxac - "Rhys"
Chrysala's long lost Esteem, or "Other" as her family called them.He spent so long living in the world that he gained a sense of self and has a personality completely separate from Chrysala. This is why he still sees himself as male and based his look on what Chrys would look like without the void corruption.
Trystan Black - "Trys"
A mysterious Viera who follows Chrys around. She has always felt severe unease and panic when she sees him, leading to her lashing out unprovoked. He often appears without warning, other than a dark portal that he walks through before and after speaking with Chrys.The only thing known about his past is he has a medical doctorate from Sharlayan.
Celeste Stone - "Starr"
Celeste lived most of her life as a student in Sharlayan, but was captured on a trip abroad and sold in an auction. When she escaped her "owners", Celeste changed her name to Starr and went into hiding.She is currently trying to find her rival Kynsaia while avoiding those that claim to have rights to her. Though she trusts no one else and she knows Kyn's choice of black magic contradicts her own use of white magic, she sees Kyn as her best friend and strongest ally.
Chrysala's Family
Mirianna Dhora
Chrysala's elder sister and only sibling. Mirianna was forced at a young age to slay her own father to save her brother and the rest of the village. When she saw her bother too was corrupted, she hesitated and allowed him to escape, instead focusing on saving those that she could.Being the last remaining Wren other than her mother, Mirianna was forced to assume the role of the village chief's wife, choosing her childhood friend Raziel to rule with her and tanking his name.
Anre Dhora
Chrysala's eldest son that she bore as a surrogate mother for her sister as a favor, fathered by their shared childhood friend Raziel.Anre was named after his grandfather in hopes that he would one day become just as great of a leader for the village.Anre is a member of the Wren family by blood, despite his mother taking his father's name when they wed.

Chrysala's primary lover and eternal bond partner, Yaotl is a Hrothgar woman from Tuliolal. They met when Chrys was there to help the scions after the invasion of the 9th, and the two chanced upon each other while assisting the citizens.
The Elemental Polycule
Arlen Morcant
On one lucky night, a traveling merchant chanced upon a feral auri woman in the jungles of Thavnair. This man offered her food and a bed to stay the night, recognizing she desperately needed help. Once she spoke up, he asked her name, only to find she had none.Bestowing the name "Chrysala" on this woman who had so much more to grow into, he introduced himself as Arlen, and with that, the beginning of one of the most intimate relationships of Chrys' life was born.Chrys later introduced Arlen to the polycule, who was accepted in as the only male.
Nolina Relanah
The one who started it all for Chrys, what started as a need to sate her thirst turned into panic as she realized she had fed on the Warrior of Light's wife. However, Nolina was revived by the blessing of the phoenix and ended up thanking Chrys for the "fun time".Completely confused, Chrys found herself overwhelmed with joy that this woman was safe around her, and she heard her out about the polycule she was a part of. Chrys accepted the invite, and eventually developed a bond with her light that transcends death and space.
Eru Relanah
As the Warrior of Light, Eru has seen her fair share of battles and losses. She never met Chrys until shortly after the events of Dawntrail, though just by being who she is, Eru had an unfortunate image to Chrys that their first meeting in person quickly dispelled.By allowing Chrys to bite her during their first meeting, Eru and Chrys got to know each other intimately which led to Chrys deciding to follow Eru not out of her previous sense of duty, but for the genuine love she had developed for the Miqote.
Morgianna Miyumi - "Morgi"

Lavatienn / Infernya - "Fern"
Though their first meeting was far from friendly, Chrys found herself attached to the dragon known as Lavatienn rather quickly. Chrys attacked Infernya when realizing that Infernya had taken the life of Chrys' wife Nolina. However in the moment, Chrys had forgotten that Noli doesn't stay down for long so she lashed out in rage and quickly found her own respawn timer started.Once both had returned to life, they invited a bewildered Infernya to join the polycule. Chrys then drank from the dragon, leading to her adopting her more recognizable draconic appearance. Chrys was the one to repeatedly call her "Fern", which Infernya seemed not to mind and eventually just accepted as her nickname within the polycule.

Itta Ferri
In relation to Chrys, there's only so much to share about Itta.Itta was the fiance of Altair, the one he was set to marry the night he unknowingly drank a fantasia and was kidnapped to be sold off.Chrys didn't bother to look for Itta because she was told her lover was dead, but later happened to run into her in Shirogane while searching for a seamstress to make her a maternity dress. Chrys was unaware that at the time, Itta was already being considered to join the polycule by Camellia and Nolina.
